21st Century Science is a new GCSE course. It is the result of a collaboration between the Nuffield Foundation, The University of York, and The Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations. Approximately 50 schools in the UK are embarking upon a Pilot Course, starting in September 2003

It represents a completely new, fresh approach to the study of science for students living in the 21st Century. This online development is intended to support students and teachers at North Chadderton School, as we embark upon a two year pilot course.

As a school, we have no attachments to publishers, or commercial ventures. All our resources on this website have been generated and developed by teachers and students at our school. Other students and teachers are free to download, modify and use the resources for their own non-profit educational applications.

This website is part of North Chadderton School's website presence, closely linked with the Global Community Website, at http://www.mywebschool.org/postnuke and our first website homebase, at http://www.webschool.org.uk
